Roofs Over Heroes

Started in May 2022 by our owner Martin Nevarez,  Roofs Over Heroes was born out of deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by our country’s Veterans.   Martin wanted to do more than just say “Thank You.”  He wanted to use what we do best—roofing—to make a real impact.

Since the program began, we’ve proudly installed three brand new roofs—completely free—for deserving Veterans.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re currently accepting nominations for Veterans who meet the following criteria:

• Must be a Veteran
• Must be the homeowner
• Roof must be a pitched shingle roof
• Roof must be in need of replacement
• Veteran must need financial assistance to afford the roof

How to Apply:

• Nominations will open on our website.
• You may nominate yourself or someone you know.
• Visit the ROH tab and fill out a short form.
• We will schedule a visit to evaluate the roof.
• Once nominations close, we will contact the selected recipient.
• Completely Free of Charge.
  There will be absolutely no cost to the Veteran homeowner.
• Materials are generously donated by our supply house.
• Labor is fully provided by our team at Sunrise Roofing.
